Current temperature in hell: polar bear toenails
I'll be frank like Anne, I did not see this one coming: a ranking contender for World's Most Pointless State Agency slaps down a request from a private company, a brilliant Web 1.9 one at that, and we here on the left side of Mutiny Baby agree wholeheartedly with The Acronym's decision? "I am sorry."
Whether you enjoyed I Am Legend or not, check out the alternate ending; it sets the "main" "zombie" character (billed as Alpha Male) as the protagonist's foil and moral equal instead of a mere nemesis. Though the new ending shows more consistent character logic and sets up themes like "love vs. hubris" instead of just "loneliness is sad," this is relevant to this blog how? As follows: read more »
Wait, I heard it was an inverted Jesus cross with the arms broken off?
Happy golden birthday to a helpless circle and line combination.

Wow.
Piracy Funds Terrorism
I gotta say, I've heard a lot of explanations for how terrorists get funding, but I have never heard of that.
An Honest Mistake
Sometimes when cops learn they killed somebody, they like to get the coroner to change the cause of death. I think it's kind of a professional courtesy or something. Those cops. They're so courteous.
