Hurry, we have got to do something!

So, I was experiencing some slow internet speeds this week and TDS scurried on down here and fixed me right up (like within hours)! Surely, they wouldn't do this just because I am a paying customer. It must be because of the NTIA.

Well, we can't just let the telecom companies get away with what we all know they want to do to us. Some people propose a preemptive attack - Net Neutrality (keep in mind that they are not actually referring to the Internet being neutral, rather the push that is being made to get government involved in the ISP industry). Fight the evil corporations before they have a chance to show their real evil qualities, right?

Sound psychotic? That's Net Neutrality. Attacking someone who hasn't yet attacked us.

It does bring back memories doesn't it?

At least the government is consistent in its thought process?

When you research the reasons behind the push for Net Neutrality, you will see that they all deal with some ambiguous thing that could maybe happen to us, but they never actually say what is happening that we are so mad about.

In BO's words,

The Internet is the most open network in history. We have to keep it that way.

By regulating infrastructure and giving more tax-financed subsidies? My god, man! This calls for a new department! We should call it "The Department of Which Gear the Internet Should Be In ... and Security."
